Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Care Number by Anthony Labs LLC (“Care Number,” “the Service,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
1. What Care Number Is (and Is Not)
Care Number is a call and text forwarding and routing service designed to help parents manage incoming communications based on schedules and preferences.
Care Number is not:
- An emergency service
- A replacement for primary contact numbers
- A guaranteed message delivery system
- A monitoring, supervision, or alerting service
- A childcare, medical, legal, or safety service
The Service is intended to be one of multiple ways people may contact you and your co-parent. Care Number must not be relied upon as the sole or exclusive method of contact, particularly for urgent, time-sensitive, or important communications involving children, schools, or caregivers.
Users are responsible for maintaining backup contact methods, including direct phone numbers, and ensuring that schools, caregivers, and other contacts have alternative ways to reach a parent if needed.
2. Eligibility
You must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have legal authority to receive, forward, and route calls and messages
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes
You may not use Care Number if doing so is prohibited by applicable law.
3. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate, complete, and current information
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
You agree not to:
- Share account access with unauthorized users
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
Care Number is not responsible for losses resulting from unauthorized access to your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any law, regulation, or carrier policy
- Harass, threaten, deceive, or defraud others
- Send or forward spam, robocalls, or bulk messages
- Circumvent telecommunications safeguards or A2P regulations
- Mask illegal activity or misrepresent identity
- Reverse engineer, probe, or test the Service without authorization
- Interfere with phone networks, carriers, or third-party systems
Care Number reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts immediately for misuse, suspected abuse, or carrier complaints.
5. Text Messaging and Carrier Compliance
Care Number makes commercially reasonable efforts to route and deliver calls and messages as configured by users.
By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Call and message delivery is not guaranteed
- Messages may be delayed, filtered, blocked, or dropped by wireless carriers or downstream providers
- Carrier fees or standard messaging rates may apply
- Carrier rules, policies, and enforcement practices may change without notice
For these reasons, Care Number should be used as a supplemental communication tool, not a sole or exclusive point of contact.
Care Number is not responsible for carrier actions, filtering decisions, outages, or compliance enforcement beyond its reasonable control.
6. No Emergency Use or Guaranteed Delivery
Care Number does not guarantee:
- Call or message delivery
- Delivery timing or order
- Correct routing in all circumstances
- Continuous or uninterrupted availability
The Service should not be used as the sole or exclusive method of contact for urgent, critical, or time-sensitive situations. Users agree to maintain and share alternative contact methods and acknowledge that reliance on a single communication channel carries inherent risk.
7. Service Availability and Changes
Care Number may:
- Modify, add, or remove features
- Suspend service for maintenance or operational reasons
- Change pricing, limits, or usage rules
- Discontinue the Service or parts of it
Care Number is not liable for changes, interruptions, or discontinuation of the Service.
8. Beta and Experimental Features
Certain features may be identified as beta, experimental, or early-access.
These features:
- May be unstable or incomplete
- May change or be removed without notice
- Are provided “as is”
Use of beta or experimental features is at your own risk.
9. Fees and Payments
If the Service includes paid features:
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law
- Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination
- Applicable taxes may be charged
Pricing and plans may change with reasonable notice.
10. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
Care Number may offer auto-renewable subscriptions that provide access to paid features. These subscriptions are sold as in-app purchases through the Apple App Store.
By purchasing a subscription, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Subscriptions are auto-renewable and automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends
- Billing is handled by Apple through your App Store account, and payment is charged to that account upon confirmation of purchase
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your iOS device’s Settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions); canceling stops future renewals but does not retroactively refund the current period
- Refunds are subject to Apple’s refund policy and are handled by Apple, not by Care Number
- Subscription prices may change, and we will provide notice of any price changes in accordance with Apple’s App Store requirements before they take effect
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time.
Care Number may suspend or terminate access:
- For violation of these Terms
- For suspected abuse, fraud, or misuse
- To comply with legal, regulatory, or carrier requirements
- To protect the Service or other users
Termination may occur without prior notice.
12. Intellectual Property
The Service, including software, branding, designs, and content, is owned by Care Number by Anthony Labs LLC and protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
CARE NUMBER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- MERCHANTABILITY
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
- NON-INFRINGEMENT
- RELIABILITY OR AVAILABILITY
THE SERVICE IS NOT WARRANTED TO BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.
14. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
CARE NUMBER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
- LOST DATA, MISSED CALLS, OR MISSED MESSAGES
- PERSONAL, MEDICAL, OR SAFETY-RELATED OUTCOMES
- RELIANCE ON THE SERVICE AS A SOLE OR EXCLUSIVE COMMUNICATION METHOD FOR URGENT OR CRITICAL SITUATIONS
TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Care Number by Anthony Labs LLC from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of applicable laws or third-party rights
16. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by the Care Number Privacy Policy.
17. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
18. Changes to These Terms of Service
Care Number may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
